Staff Meeting June 24th
We will be closed from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM for an all-staff meeting. If your pet is experiencing a medical emergency during this time, please contact or visit your nearest emergency veterinary hospital.
Thank you for your understanding and patience as we take this time for team training and development.

Laboratory
Our practice offers a wide variety of in-house lab work, while other lab tests are sent out to local or distant reference labs. Fecal exams are recommended annually because most parasites can be transmitted to humans as well as other animals, so keeping on top of parasite infections keeps everyone in the household healthier. Additionally, pets typically have a constant exposure to parasites if they are exposed to grass, which is where the parasite eggs cling. Heart worm testing is recommended annually if the pet is not on preventative and every 2 years if the patient is maintained on HW prevention year-round. We have the capability to run routine blood work in-house providing faster turn-around on results for sick animals, emergencies and prior to anesthetic procedures. Blood work for preventive health care testing or prescription refills may be sent to an outside lab for more detailed testing.
