Dr. Anderson

Dr. Jennifer Anderson DVM

Dr. Anderson graduated from the Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004, and joined the Wilsonville Veterinary Clinic team in August of 2005.

She is a native Oregonian, and has worked in the veterinary field since she was a high school student. Dr. Anderson enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery, and always strives to provide the best possible care for her patients. Outside of work, she spends as much time as possible with her husband, son, two dogs and three cats. She also enjoys reading, gardening, hiking, and camping.


Dr. Kristen Hardinge DVM

Dr. Hardinge completed her veterinary degree at the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. She joined Wilsonville Veterinary Clinic in 2003.

Outside of work she enjoys horseback riding, hiking and skiing with her husband and two children. Her menagerie includes a dog, three cats, and two horses.

Dr. Lopate

Dr. Cheryl Lopate MS, DVM, DACT

Dr. Lopate received a MS in reproductive physiology from The Ohio State University in 1987 and she graduated from the same university in 1991 with her DVM.

She completed a residency in comparative theriogenology (reproduction) at Purdue University in 1997 and became board certified in the same year. She has worked in a variety of practice settings including general mixed practice, referral practice and academia. She believes very strongly in providing client education and speaks at breed group meetings regularly. She also speaks at many veterinary conferences and has written many journal articles, book chapters and books on a variety of reproductive topics. In her free time she rides her Cleveland Bay gelding, Ro; herds with her three dogs Madison (an Australian Shepherd), Reggie and Finn (both Pembroke Welsh Corgis) and works on her hobby farm. She has a barn kitty name Cleo, 5 sheep (for the dogs to herd) and 2 miniature donkeys named Annabelle and Emily.


Dr. Sam Tepper DVM

Dr. Tepper attended veterinary school at Oregon State University, and then pursued further training through a year-long internship at The Ohio State University. After this he worked as a large animal veterinarian in southern Idaho for a year. Dr. Tepper has spent the past three years at a small animal practice in northern Idaho.

One of Dr. Tepper’s greatest professional strengths is his thirst for knowledge and self-betterment. His approach to medicine is relational and client-focused. Special interests include dermatology, autoimmune diseases, and surgery.

Dr. Tepper is thrilled to be back home in Oregon! He now lives in Portland with his lovely wife Andrea (also a veterinarian), a crazed border collie named Lacey, and two lazy cats named Oscar and Tobi. In his free time Dr. Tepper enjoys hiking and skiing with Andrea, as well as woodworking, tennis and soccer. During the school year he volunteers as a children’s leader with AWANA.

Dr. Tepper is excited to join the WVC team and looks forward to working with their wonderful staff and clients!
